It kinda seems Miquella was counting on Malenia cursing General Radahn with the scarlet rot, it's like dropping a nuke on a city expecting the people there to contract radiation poisoning, it's clear that Miquella needed Radahn to die but at the right moment. He believed Radahn would survive but would keep on living with the rot eating him from within; after all, death in the Lands Between works in wierd ways and some of the only ways attain it are either dragon fire or being defeated in combat. To me Miquella the Kind was opposed to Lady Ranni, she sought the (un)death of Godwyn the Golden in particular, instead he tried to grant Godwyn a true death because they were close. They're two sides of the same coin, both looked for a way to supplant the Golden Order, she wanted to create a distant order without the influence of gods because it was the only way of granting freedom to the people; in contrast, Miquella gave up everything to become the god of a new age so he could fix the world's problems by himself, free will be damned. If anything, it was the will the moon that the eclipse at Castle Sol failed. And Miquella had to stop Radahn's aspirations of glory and obtaining an honorable death so the stars wouldn't move, for the moment at least.

Well done on explaining questions that would come up, not spoiling things but still giving enough to show exciting things and saying not uhm, uhh, or random meme clips My ONLY criticism is maybe cut it down to 12 mins or speak a little faster. I put it at 1.5x speed which made things much more concise and to the point

It just feels so random to pair Radahn with Miquella, when the base game makes no effort to connect them. Radahn is all about trying to follow the example of Godfrey and Radagon, not just as elden lords, but as a champion of the Golden Order. What's more is that the lore in the base game does more to establish Miquella's yearning to find a way to revive Godwyn, and it is hinted that Miquella is working on a way to do it due to his allies pursuing relics associated with the Eclipse, which is all about restoring the souls to the empty bodies of soulless demigods, which is Godwyn's exact case. Having Radahn return as Miquella's champion just felt so random and even conflicting with the connection established between Miquella and Godwyn.

What if Thops wasn't locked outside by the scholars, but instead set his studies outside out of fear? Maybe he still felt he wasn't good enough to share the space with the academics. After all, he didn't get a key with his own merits. Maybe he was afraid of being rejected and chose to study and become more adept before facing his peers.

SPOILER WARNING: Well, it turns out that they fought because Miquella just really, really wanted to marry Radahn - whether or not Radahn himself was in on it. DLC got us all stumped lol.

I never played the OG version so I can't compare the current version to the old one. That being said I enjoy sunless city (helps that I got it much cheaper on amazon) , its not perfect by any means but I find it for the most part enjoyable. I am looking forward to the Elden ring board game because it will be interesting to see what lessons where learned when making the DS board game.
